By cultural capital we mean we strive to support all children to acquire the skills, knowledge, behaviours and experiences that they can use and apply in all aspects of their future lives.

At Pennine Way our aim is to ensure that our curriculum is planned in such a way that all pupils, regardless of their social background, additional needs or whether they are disadvantaged, have opportunities to be exposed to cultural experiences and gain background knowledge that will equip them with cultural knowledge to propel them further in their education, careers and social development to support their life journey.
